HandsomeHosting grew out of our web development business, HandsomeWeb. Most of our design customers needed shared hosting and were not comfortable with selecting their own host. Who could blame them for being uncomfortable? With enough time, one can find web hosting accounts from under $10 per year to several hundred per month. And with all the gobbledygook in the description, how can one understand what they need unless they are a network engineer.

So we weeded through all of that business about peer networks, colocation, RAID, etc. to find the most appropriate hosting available. Getting to know some people and organizations in the industry, we decided we had the right connections to organize the most reliable combination of hardware, network datacenter, server management personnel, and software installations to enter the crowded web hosting market.
